A contributed live CD created from the current UserLinux desktop package set is available for download: "A Userlinux desktop live CD is available. This allows you to test and demo the system on any i386 PC without touching a hard disk. This system is somewhat lower performance than the hard disk version, simply because of the seek and access speed of a CD vs. a hard disk, and the fact that the filesystem is a RAM disk. Don't try to boot it on a system with less than 128MB RAM, and the more RAM the better." The announcement. This is an excellent way to check on the current progress in the development of UserLinux. Download the live CD from here: userlinux-live-0.2.iso (456MB). The CD was contributed by Alex de Landgraaf, the developer of Morphix.
