Peach OSI
Peach OSI was an Ubuntu-based Linux distribution featuring the Xfce desktop customised to resemble Apple's OS X user interface. The releases follow Ubuntu's long-term support (LTS) branches. Besides a standard desktop edition, the project also provides more specialist releases for netbooks, Raspberry Pi single-board computers, home theatre systems, as well as a customised build designed for children.

Muayyad Al-Sadi has announced the release of Ojuba 3, a Fedora-based distribution with Islamic utilities and support for Arabic: "We are proud to announce the release of Ojuba 3. This release comes in two forms: a live DVD/USB and an installation DVD which can be used to upgrade from a previous release. The installation DVD contains packages and serves as a repository for offline installation of packages. It includes GNOME 2.26, KDE 4.3.1, Xfce 4.6.1, LXDE. Features: Ojuba control center, original artwork, Quran browser and Thwab library, many Arabic and Islamic books like Sunan and classical dictionaries, prayer time reminder, Monajat supplications, Hijri calendar, Sun JRE, multimedia support, mlterm with support for Arabic. This release is based on Fedora 11 and it includes fast boot, ext4 support, fingerprint login...." Here is the full release announcement with several screenshots. Muayyad Al-Sadi has announced the availability of Ojuba 4, a Fedora-based distribution from Jordan optimised for Arabic speakers: "With God's blessing we are pleased to announce the final release of Ojuba Linux 4. This is the first release to have 64-bit support besides the 32-bit one, which we also offer for legacy PCs. Each got a LiveCD version within 700 MB and an installation media with packages within 4 GB. This release includes a pre-release version of Thawab the Arabic Islamic library (http://thawab.ojuba.org) and Ojuba-personal-lock (a GUI for folder encryption) and many more applications and enhancements. Muayyad Al-Sadi has announced the availability of the first beta release of Ojuba 4, a Fedora-based distribution optimised for Arabic speakers: "We are pleased to announce the release of Ojuba Linux 4 beta. This is the first release to have 64-bit as well as 32-bit support which we also offer for legacy PCs. Each of these comes as a 700 MB live CD and a 4 GB installation DVD with packages from Fedora 13 and extra packages from RPM Fusion and ojuba.org. Muayyad Al-Sadi has announced the release of Ojuba 2, a Fedora-based distribution designed for Arabic-speaking users. Some of the more interesting features of this release include: a DVD edition with development tools, system utilities and proprietary graphics drivers; media-repo - a program that detects a DVD containing a package repository and launches the GUI package manager; the latest Fedora 10 features, such as fast boot with Plymouth; OpenOffice.org 3; many patches for better Arabic support (in Yelp and notification daemon); Thwab 2.2.2 - a software that can view thousands of freely available Islamic literature books; an initial release of Othman - the Quran browser (with the original Othmani calligraphy style); Hijra 0.1.17 - an enhanced version of our Hijri/Islamic calendar; pre-configured, ready-to-use Nautilus share.
