Mythbuntu
Mythbuntu was an Ubuntu-based distribution and live CD focused upon setting up a standalone MythTV system similar to KnoppMyth or Mythdora. It can be used to install a standalone frontend, backend, or combination machines. Mythbuntu uses Xfce as its default desktop and provides a graphical Control Centre to configure the system.

This new version of Bluewhite64 brings many new and interesting features, improvements and packages updates. The first major change is a new and improved package format, we have switched to the LZMA compression algorithm to reduce the packages size and to improve the decompression speed. Some of them includes new Linux kernel 2.6.27.7 with advanced features and a new feature to install Bluewhite64 Linux via Samba shares. Also, this release includes newly added packages like pm-utils (power management utilities), SQLite 3.6.6.2 (simple, self contained database engine) and wich (wired and wireless network manager for Linux). Some of the updated packages include KDE 3.5.10 and Xfce 4.4.3 desktop environments, Mozilla Firefox 3.0.4 and SeaMonkey 1.1.13 web browsers, and Mozilla Thunderbird 2.0.0.18 and KMail 1.9.9 email clients." Also, we are introducing a Bluewhite64 Linux 12.1R1 'KDE4 LiveDVD'. The 'KDE3 LiveDVD' has received important security and stability updates. These updates include new versions of the KDE, X.Org, Pidgin, ALICE, OpenSSH and OpenSSL, Mozilla Firefox, Thunderbird and SeaMonkey, BIND, Amarok and many more. New feature, BW64installer, which is a GUI installation program for installing Bluewhite64 Linux Live to a hard drive, has been added. This release is built on a fresh install of the standard version of Bluewhite64 Linux 12.1 and includes all patched packages from the patches directory and the newly released KDE 4.1. The second release candidate for Bluewhite64 Linux, a Slackware-based distribution for the x86_64 architectures, is out and ready for testing: "We have reached the second release candidate of the upcoming stable release of Bluewhite64 Linux 12.1. Since the first RC, we have upgraded the Linux kernel to version 2.6.24.5, added the latest stable Linux Kernel 2.6.25 to the testing area and made it available as a test.s kernel during installation. Also, added the IA32 emulation for those who need to run 32-bit programs, this can be found in the extra software repository. Many other small cosmetic fixes have been merged."
