ZENIX GNU/Linux was a Linux distribution based on Linux From Scratch. It was built directly from scratch to stand for a reliable Server OS. ZENIX consists of a basic system and some additional packages. A single package will provide a full server environment for a specific need, such as DNS server, web server or mail server.

Rafael Rachid has announced the release of Linuxfx 10.5, the latest stable version of the project's Ubuntu-based distribution with a look and feel that emulates Windows 10 and with useful tools designed to help users migrate from Windows to Linux. This version is based on Ubuntu 20.04 and it features a highly customised Cinnamon desktop called "WX Desktop". Some of the improvements in Linuxfx 10.5 include: support for older computers; a re-worked Wine compatibility layer with better support for Windows games as well as *.exe and *.msi files which can now be launched by double-clicking them in the file manager; inclusion of OnlyOffice 5.6.0 "Desktop" edition at the expense of LibreOffice; updated desktop theme and control panel; re-designed login and logout screens; improvements to file sharing. Linuxfx is a Brazilian Linux distribution based on Ubuntu. It ships with an intuitive Cinnamon desktop user interface designed to facilitate migration of users from Windows. It includes a video management system called Sentinela, a computer vision software with video analytics and software for access control (facial recognition and automatic number plate recognition), object detection, gender, age and mood detection. Other features of the distribution include a new personal assistant, a WX theme for desktop and system applications, and compatibility with software written for Windows (.exe and .msi) through a Wine port. Following the release of Linuxfx 10.6 the distribution became a commercial offering.

Rafael Rachid has announced the release of Linuxfx 11.2.22.04.3, an updated version of the project's Ubuntu-based Linux distribution featuring a KDE Plasma desktop themed to resemble either the Windows 10 or the Windows 11 user interface. This version is based on Ubuntu 22.04: "It is with great pleasure that we announce the release of Linuxfx version 11.2.22.04.3. This release is based on Ubuntu 22.04.3 'Jammy Jellyfish'. Support for .exe and .msi applications has been improved with Wine 7.18; Linux kernel 5.15 is also present in this release, improving support for more modern hardware. We updated KDE and the entire application base which is now downloaded directly from the Neon repositories. WxDesktop, all its tools and themes have also been updated. Support for Android games and apps has been improved. What's new in this version: system base up to 22.04.2 LTS; Linux kernel up to 5.15; KDE up to 5.25.5; Wine (Windows .exe/.msi application support) up to 7.18; WxDesktop tools is updated to 11.7; all system packages updated." Rafael Rachid has announced the release of Linuxfx 11.1.1103, an updated build of the project's Ubuntu-based Linux distribution with a KDE Plasma desktop themed to resemble either the Windows 10 or the Windows 11 user interface. This version is based on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, it includes support for running Android apps and games, and it also integrates many popular Microsoft applications, such as Edge and PowerShell: "It is with great pleasure that we announce the release of Linuxfx version 11.1.1103. This update ads several new features to the operating system. The system kernel has been updated to version 5.13, bringing better support for more modern hardware. System tools gained new translations - French, German, Italian, Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, US English and Portuguese are now supported on WxDesktop. Android support has been improved - now in addition to supporting OpenGL, we also offer support for Vulkan (experimental). Finally, all system packages have been updated, including WxDesktop and ONLYOFFICE. The image has been scaled down to fit on a DVD." Linuxfx is a Brazillian distribution based on Ubuntu. The project's latest release, Linuxfx 9.0, is based on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS (long-term support) and features the KDE Plasma 5.12 desktop environment. This version ships with WPS Office for working with documents in place of LibreOffice; multiple web browsers, including Chrome, Firefox and Tor Browser are available for browsing the web; Skype and Thunderbird are installed for communicating; K3b is present for burning optical media; VLC and Deadbeef are providing for watching videos and listening to music; and TeamViewer for providing remote assistance. The Sentinel ctOS software and the embedded Soundfx audio processor are also included. Rafael Wagner has announced the launch of a new version of Linuxfx, a Brazilian distribution based on Ubuntu and featuring the KDE Plasma desktop. The new release, Linuxfx 8.0, is based on Ubuntu LTS packages and features the Plasma 5 desktop environment. Linuxfx also includes the WPS productivity software which offers strong compatibility with Microsoft Office documents. The Linuxfx team has launched a new version of their Ubuntu-based distribution. The new release, Linuxfx 7.4.2, features mostly improved hardware support, productivity software and media support. An English translation of the project's release announcement (Brazilian Portuguese) reads: "This new version of Linuxfx is the latest 7 series and brings several new features included. Start using the new CTOs interface and all the features of the systems developed by Linuxfx Software for the area of biometrics and access control. This version contains the most current tools for production and even Internet browsing, as well as providing extra security against malicious websites or other content potentially harmful to your computer."
