Nixovena Linux & AI Labs has announced the release of Zenclora OS 3.0, the latest version of the project's desktop Linux distribution based on Debian's "Stable" branch and featuring a unified package management system called Zen Package Manager (ZPM). This release offers two desktop variants - GNOME and MATE: "Zenclora 3.0 is officially available. This major update introduces the MATE desktop environment as a lightweight, highly customizable alternative to GNOME, complete with integrated Conky setups. Alongside desktop and kernel performance enhancements, the Zen Package Manager (ZPM) has been completely rebuilt from the ground up in Python. The new ZPM features a modern interface, support for 12 languages, and powerful new toolsets including Zen AI, Zen Security and the all-new Zenthub Flatpak software center. New ZPM tools and features: Zen AI - manage local and online AI models with Ollama, Toolkit, ApiChat and LLM Store; Zen security - new tools including jails (Firejail manager), USBGuard, checksum and an nftables-based firewall; Zenthub - a brand new Python rich CLI-based Flatpak software center...." | Zenclora OS is a desktop Linux distribution based on Debian's "Stable" branch, featuring customised GNOME and MATE desktop. One of its more interesting features is the integration of custom package and system management commands, such as "update" (to update the entire system), "cleanup" (to clean up the system and free up space), "install-flatpak", "install-steam", "install-chrome", "install-liquorix" (to install the Flatpak utility, Steam gaming client, Chrome browser or Liquorix kernel), and many others. It also offers quick network and system information overviews with "net-info" and "zenclora-fetch" commands. The distribution is optimised for stability and intensive daily use. |

Zenclora OS, a desktop Linux distribution based on Debian's "Stable" branch with a customised GNOME desktop, has been updated to version 2.0. Code-named "Ardenweald", it now features a unified package management system called Zen Package Manager (ZPM). "This major release marks the transition to Zen Package Manager (ZPM), unifying software installation, system management and utility tools. Core changes: transitioned from 'Zenclora Commands' to the unified Zen Package Manager (ZPM); package installation, system management and utility tools are now centralized under zpm. Zen Package Manager (ZPM) expansion: added support for external packages - librewolf, mullvad-browser, signal, mullvad-vpn, rust, docker, pacstall, nvidia-driver; new bundle installs - gaming-pack, editor-pack, producer-pack, office-pack, dev-pack; new system management - optimize, mitigations, info, services, packages, logs, netfix, aptfix; integrated utility tools: formatusb, debinstaller, filemanager; added automatic NVIDIA driver installation support. System and aesthetics: full visual redesign: updated login screen, Plymouth and Debian Installer themes; significant desktop changes for better usability and a more refined appearance; improved kernel-level optimizations...."
