24.04 LTS is impressive, yet still a bit buggy as expected (e.g. boot option screen stands for too long, then a big empty rectangle splashes over the screen for a while, then a white screen only saying "edubuntu..." , then a few flickers and ...the user/password screen appears and things are looking good from there) ...but it is one of our top 3 Education OSs in our Primary School in Nairobi's Kibera Slum. Not bad, yet endless.os still excites more, both, teachers and kids.
Typical critique points are... 1) the out of the box forced snap dependency, which can be mended, yet, is a clear limitation, 2) it's breakable, yes, quite more easily than necessary, 3) a clear, transparent structure (matrix) for the age group of the kids has been tried but could be done in a more detailed way.
Top positive points are: 1) it's Gnome 46, 2) ubuntu... nice, polished, 3) comes with a wonderful installer...
