Great distro with 1 problem, for me at least. The lack of desktop xfce right click menu is something I do not understand. Other than that, it is fast like all arch distros,

Speedy!
Quick to install, easy to install, the power and functionality of Arch along with all the benefits of bleeding-edge updates should you want them.
The SwagArch team should be proud of what they have acheived with this distro - just the right amount of software in the ISO, with no bloat that I have found.
Any downsides? Well, yes there are.
1) Not everyone will like the desktop style (somewhat Mac-like with plank and the Whisker menu location) - personally, I like it and if I didn't I could easily change it.
2) Watch your step with the 'liveuser' account that is left behind post installation - it has no password and can be root.... Simply remove the liveuser, disable the liveuser or give it a password if you want to keep it.
Give SwagArch a go - you might just like what the author is doing!

A great Arch based distro that deserves more recognition.
I mean, you can spend a day installing and configuring Arch using the wiki and scripts right? And it will run well, include all of the software that you select and might (if you're lucky) pick up your video card, wireless chipset, bluetooth adapter and soundcard - otherwise it's time to get down and dirty with scripts and pacman......
Alternatively, you could choose a 'scripted' install like Manjaro or SwagArch - I tried Manjaro and it looked good, performed well but refused to detect sound / wireless and bluetooth adapters until I 'patched' after install - around an hour on top of the ten minutes to install.
SwagArch - installed and everything apart from Bluetooth worked straight away - downloaded updates and Bluetooth sprang into life after a re-boot.
SwagArch is now my daily driver - runs well - pretty much on the bleeding-edge but, as yet, has had no issues or breakages.
Given my data is on a separate volume, if it were to break, 15 mins to re-install is probably quicker than trying to 'fix' it!
I really like Arch, but I really love SwagArch!

What can I say?
It's Arch without the pain (although 'proper' Arch users might not like it as without the 'pain' it isn't Arch.....)
Not recommended for real 'newbies' as being Arch based (and using Arch repos) it is likely to break at some point and you will have to fix it. However, so far, I have found it to be very stable, very fast and relatively low on resorces.
It is xfce based with plank installed by default - however, this is all easily changed so don't let the 'mac-alike' experience put you off - indeed, this distro has received many positive comments, from friends and family, about its looks and performance.
Runs very well on a cheap (£60 cheap) 14.1", Atom x5 Cherry Trail lapbook with 64Gb ssd and just 2Gb of RAM.
What's not to like!

SwagArch is a great up and coming distro. I don't know what the developers are wanting to do but it seems they are targeting graphic designers and artists. I think SwagArch is the closest thing to Elementary OS amoung Arch-based distros.
PROS:
Works out of the box.
Lightweight and fast.
Has an abundance of apps.
Very stable for a rolling release (no issues in the months that I've used it).
Fresh style with custom wallpapers.
CONS:
Mac layout (although some people may love it). Fortunately, it is very EASY to customize the layout into whatever works best for me.

Careful, liveuser account has been left in the system after installed with an administrator account!
looks like a serious security issue here.

This is a really good distro.
I call it “Manjaro for Millennials”. It’s light, easy and flexible with a trendy style.
If the Swag Arch team continues to polish the distro and maybe even throw in one or two distinctive features...I think Swag will join Manjaro and Antergos as the most popular Arch derivatives.

Installation was a breeze (virtualbox for now). Noted that several Mint X-apps were chosen :) yes!!! Which means 'xed' for an editor, and 'pix' for image browsing. A really clean interface and easy to find ones way around to customize your experience. Most of the wallpapers are the distro-master's own work and enhance the overall impression of a quality distro. Must be the easiest way to get into Arch besides Manjaro. Haven't run into any cons as yet - first day euphoria and all that :)

Swagarch has become my main driver. The main reason is that Arch will misbehave sooner or later. You can reinstall Arch from scratch, using up a whole weekend or you can install Swagarch and be up and running in a half hour. In my case I add pacman -S mate mate-extra and use the AUR to add wireless and I have all the functionality I used to have in Arch on a Mate desktop but at a fraction of the time. I also love the XFCE theme.

Out of all the Linux distro's, Swag Arch (SA) works the best on my CherryTrail notebook (Same SoC hardware that some tablets run).
Very fast and just works. Even sound (although not though the spears, but headphones and HDMI display/sound works fine). I could not get sound to work on any other Linux distro's on this notebook even though headphones and even after applying patches (Linuxium does great work on ubuntu distro's with these type of hardware).
Nice other issues with the hardware, battery even picks up and registers correctly when plugging in external power. Other disto's have issues seeing (detecting) the battery.
Bluetooth still and issue and don't work even with patches so far (same as other distro's on this notebook).
All and all, I'm very pleased with SA and glad I found something where most essential things that need to work, work.
The layout and look of the desktop is very attractive and pleasing to the eyes.

This runs so nice and fast on an old netbook (atom processor) with only 2gb of ram (it's a 64bit atom). Works like a dream as all other linux distro's are slow on it.
I have a love for XFCE and the desktop design etc.. just works perfectly on SwagArch.

Tried a lot of different arch-distros on my Lenovo Thinkpad X100E (3G ram). All of them had som problem after installation (no wifi, to slow, et cetera). This was the first one to work right away. Very easy to install and easy to use. I surely can recommend it.

Weren't able to use it on my daily driver which is Dell Latitute E5420 with 6 gigs of RAM. I am not saying it won't have it's uses but for me personally this Arch variation is well.... Subpar. I'm much more happy with AnARCHy installation on my daily driver.

Installation was simple and easy, didn't take too long.
When I first booted up, i updated all the packages, but a package had a conflict (JS52: File already in the system), so that's not optimal.
Other than that the system works fine, some bugs here and there.
It's fast, has the necessary apps to boot, and looks good

First what I thinked was:
"WHAT A STUPID NAME FOR A DISTRO!"
But I had problems with installer of another popular Arch based distro, and didn't want to mess with console installation of Arch.
SwagArch has got Live ISO so I decided to give it a spin, and after that I may say:
This is it what I was looking for.
The arch based distro with live installer, where every thing just works.
Only cons which I found are that when I use fn shortcuts for changing brightness or volume, it changes normal, but with no screen indicator. IMHO no problem.
I wasn't huge fan of XFCE - but what SwagArch team did with it, is more than satysfying.
Stock white theme is beautiful, and if switch to the dark theme it's even better.
And it's so damn fast!
I've got a gaming notebook, but it's huge speed incrase from gnome.
This distro definetely needs more attention from a community, better site and I think it has got potential to be in top three of Arch based distros.
Long live SwagArch!

Out of all the Arch variations i've tried that include an installer, this feels most like "The Arch Way."
Extremely polished, very easy to use, and very light on resources (barely there at all) while still providing a gorgeous XFCE setup. This is a true masterpiece of an Arch-based distro.
Though you still have the ability, you won't need to change anything after install. Everything works, and works fast and efficiently. No bloat of any kind. This is truly the arch-way.
Everyone has there own opinion regarding installers but, once you install Arch manually over a hundred times, a GUI installer can be well appreciated. Swag
One minor thing i've been wondering simply why they chose to name it SwagArch... as Swag has many different definitions.
All in all, i'm very impressed, this will be replacing ArchLabs as my new daily driver.

This distro was the happiest surprise in all my testing. Though I mostly use buntu based distros due to an advantage for art and graphics software - I like other distro bases as well. If Manjaro is the "Mint" of the Arch branch then this distro is surely the Peppermint of the Arch branch. This of course is just a vague analogy - SwagArch is it's own beast. It is fast!!!. It is streamlined. All the software I use works perfectly (as I have come to expect in buntu based distros - but at times have run into snags testing in other branches). Of course everyone will have there own purpose for use.
I gave this a 10 on the rating selection. I would actually give it a 9.5 due to a problem oft run into with the Arch branch. Calamares oft has to be reset - if you will - via terminal.
This shot up into my top 6 distros faster then anything I have tested. Buntu based favorites still hold an advantage, but this distro is already on a main system (as opposed to just a testing).

I have been using MX-17, which is an excellent debian distribution for about half a year, and had problems with previous arch distributions, which have been difficult to use, or break packages. I decided to give swaglinux a try, as one more attempt to use an arch based distribution, and have been very pleased. It is very easy to install, and is even quieter in terms of fan usage on my old laptop than MX-17 was. It is light in memory use, and all of my peripherals are working fine, and all of my regularly used problems are up and running. I will stay with this one.

After trying several times Antergos and Manjaro I've never expected any Arch distro to be stable, trouble free and reliable.
Untill I've tried SwagArch. Everything works like a charm starting from the very installation, man, what a difference compared to so recognized Manjaro! Great distro, I'm so happy to be able to use my nVidia card fully in latest Blender, hardly possible elsewhere.
Highly recommended!

Quick and trouble free install for my system.
One of the best Arch based Distros I've used.(10 Year linux user)
The default theme is not to my liking but very easily fixed.
Rock solid, Crisp.
I have used this system for about a year now (or least since I found it here @DW)
I Highly Recommend this OS, it has severed me well and problem free.
Kudos to the Devs.

I did also notice the issue during the install of SwagArch and raised a bug for it. Seems that it has been solved in the latest version. The issue was that Calamares used slow mirrors and it now first runs a script to select faster ones.
Although the issue was solved quite fast, I did not like the theme and the choice of packages which are installed. So I just give it an 8 out of 10.

For me, this is the best XFCE implementation of a “ready to use” ARCH based distro.
Rolling updates, fully compatible with Archlinux and minimal, but very effective, modifications which make the desktop beautiful and user friendly.
Everything works out of the box, it is packed with a great selection of software like firefox browser, password manager, disk partitioning, encrypted files/folders, multimedia support, panel customizer, package manager/updater, firewall configurator, etc…
I just miss the “right click” on desktop, but this can be easily enabled in “settings”.
Calamares installer is very easy to use, supports partitioning and selection of where to install the bootloader.
The live mode is also useful for system and/or disk maintenance or safe browsing the internet.
Kudos to the developer!
