Project Trident is an off-shoot of TrueOS on the Desktop, and comes with the same look and feel - with Lumina still being the defacto Window Manager. A customised layer ontop of Fluxbox giving an familiar yet unfamiliar feel to your computing experience.
It's a fast and reactive OS, and comes with Virtualbox Guest Additions pre-loaded when you install it that way, and the latest drivers for you graphics card if you choose to go the bare metal way.
It attempts to be something different in an arena of competing OS's and pulls it off with style.
Pros: FreeBSD heritage - stability, performance and power on your desktop.
What can one say.. Those who have tried TrueOs, know how cutting edge it is, well all that has been worked on,with Trueos, has been been improved with Trident. Lumina is really taking shape.Fast, lean in resources yet visually beautiful. Unlike other BSD's really easy to setup, today I discovered even my ext4 partitions are picked up by Trident. No other BSD could do that by default, I just mounted the drive, & bingo there in front of me where all the partitions & files.WOW... As for software, App Cafe has most of the binary pkgs you need to install. Just one thing needs to be added & that's Tor Browser.. With that, you Developers, know who has given you this review.. That's why you have only received a 9/10.. Otherwise keep up the Gr8 work.. This will be a fantastic Os. Certainly will be the number one, BSD.
