Ubuntu 19.10 nears its end of life |
 |
Iain Lane has announced that Ubuntu 19.10 is nearing the end of its supported life. After July 17, 2020 the 19.10 release will no longer receive security fixes. "Ubuntu announced its 19.10 (Eoan Ermine) release almost 9 months ago, on October 17, 2019, and its support period is now nearing its end. Ubuntu 19.10 will reach end of life on Friday, July 17 2020. At that time, Ubuntu Security Notices will no longer include information or updated packages for Ubuntu 19.10. The supported upgrade path from Ubuntu 19.10 is via Ubuntu 20.04." Tips on upgrading to a newer version of the distribution can be found in the Ubuntu documentation.
