PureOS provides new kernel improvements |

The PureOS team develop free software distributions for a range of devices, including personal computers and the Lbrem 5 mobile device. The project is regularly producing fixes and improvements in free software in order to make their Linux distribution run better, particularly on mobile devices. Martin Kepplinger has published an overview of work that has gone into the Linux kernel which improve power management, battery status indicators, and USB controllers. "Following up on our report for Linux 5.9 and 5.10, this summarizes the progress on mainline support for the Librem 5 phone and its development kit during the 5.11 development cycle...."
