Debian has one candidate for Project Leader |

Debian is not only one of the world's oldest distributions, it is also one of the largest. Around 1,000 developers work on Debian's multiple branches and ports, maintaining a distribution which offers tens of thousands of packages which run on over half a dozen CPU architectures. Debian also stands out by having an elected leader, someone who will coordinate with the various groups and represent the project. This year, as the Debian election season begins, the project faces a rare situation in which just one developer, Jonathan Carter, is running for the job of Debian Project Leader. |
