Red Hat to support .NET |
 |
Red Hat has announced that the company will soon support running Microsoft's .NET framework on their Red Hat Enterprise Linux platform. In recent years Microsoft has reduced the licensing and patent restrictions on .NET and shifted toward a more community-developed approach to .NET. This has made the programming framework more appealing to some Linux developers and Red Hat will explain how they plan to ship and support .NET in an upcoming seminar. "Soon you will be able to use .NET on Red Hat Enterprise Linux. While the pieces are still being finalized we are excited to share a behind-the-scenes sneak peek at how this will work for you. In this 2-hour webinar and demo, see: How .NET on Red Hat Enterprise Linux is coming together. What you can expect from the development experience. .NET on Red Hat Enterprise Linux in action." Additional details can be found on Red Hat's webinars page.
