As announced by Ken VanDine, this is the project's first attempt at building a bootable CD image, with the additional bonus of carrying the new release candidate of GNOME 2.18: "Just published the first Foresight-based live CD! Very exciting, we have wanted to do this for a long time but it has never really made it to the top of the priority list. Most significant updates are Firefox 2.0 and Flash 9. Also sporting Conary 1.1.10 and rAA 1.0.7 which we have started to re-brand for Foresight. It still has the rPath look, but is now labelled 'Foresight System Manager' and will soon have a full Foresight look and feel. Mono, F-Spot, Banshee and Beagle have all been updated. Conary seems like it has potential I suppose, but I'm not so sure we really need another package manager such as this. It doesn't seem all that groundbreaking to me or so different from everything else out there that it's necessary at all. Considering how the rest of the distro looks and acts so polished, it seems that package management isn't up to speed with the rest of the OS. Just my two cents of course.
