Users who value the flexibility and control of Linux but prefer a ready-to-use, full-featured, lightweight and modern-looking Linux desktop environment may find Shebang Linux to be an excellent option.
Everything works so well, aesthetically great, and is surprisingly designed down to the smallest detail. It also reminded me of some old-school distros such as BackTrack Linux and CrunchBangPlusPlus.

It comes with hardened security and privacy settings. For instance, most personal directories like home, run on DRAM, which means every reboot every file inside wipes out, no need to be scared tho, i use backup or opt directory to store anything personal. I've been using it for couple of weeks, and been doing 3d modelling, gaming, coding, daily driving, surfing the net at ease, with blend power. It actually increased my creativity and productivity. All the hotkeys are predictable: you can do every hotkeys with one hand, around the super key. Most distros nowadays use complicated not memorable hotkeys. There's a welcome script at every startup. Even if you break or change something, it restores every configurations to default. Everything is essential; minimal, secure. 10 out of 10.
