TROMjaro is a Manjaro-based Linux distribution with a customised Xfce desktop. Compared to its parent, TROMjaro offers several user-friendly utilities, such as Layout Switcher with six different layouts or Theme Switcher with several accent colours. It also provides various enhancements, including the integration of the Chaotic-AUR repository with pre-built binary packages, a selection of custom wallpapers and icon packs, and extra configuration options in Settings Manager. The distribution comes with support for AppImage files and a heavily-tweaked Firefox browser with custom add-ons.

 Fast distro built on arch. Easy to use and set up. I love the focus they have and how user friendly it is. I can even game on this distro. It has a custom firefox with a great configuration. This is just one of the best distros I have tried and works on older computers. I have had few issues and no major issues. I guess the only issue that comes to mind is when it comes to games. I plays games but not if they are installed on a different drive than the main one. Which is odd as no other linux distro that can play games has that issue. Not a major though as I can still play games. I also normally just use this on older computers that I do not game on but do work or other activities that do not need a powerful computer. Any way great distro.

 Just wanted to say TROMjaro has completely won me over. It’s Manjaro/Arch under the hood, but with a super clean and modern Xfce setup that feels fast, light, and rock solid. I’ve had zero crashes in weeks of use.

What I love most is the philosophy: no ads, no telemetry, no bloat. The App Center only lists open-source, privacy-friendly software, as well as web apps from TROM.tf, which makes it effortless to keep the system clean: see my wiki.tromjaro.alexio.tf :)

For me, it’s the perfect mix of stability, speed, and purpose. Easily a 10/10 distro.

 I've searched for reviews on this distro on YouTube several times. But every single time , I got only a few videos , whiche are older than 2 years or more. I think people are not quite aware of this distro , and don't think of any single reason on why is that so. This is my favorite Arch install. This should be appealing to both power users and noobs alike. It's got a lot of AUR-softwares to be installed and has a few other goodies that all sorts of users will enjoy. I think it has a lot of good software as a base, and it includes many friendly tweaks to get optimal versions of all your favorite apps. So, if you are looking for a small, lightweight distro to get out of your way and let you do what you want with your distro--it's great. It's very very very stable one also , to say the least. Powered by the simplicity and versatility and stability of XFCE , even makes it more appealing and better.

I don't know and care about the trade-free thing. It's just great for older as well as newer boxes.
